Scheduling documents in the released file set indicate three meetings with Epstein in 2014 while Burns was serving as Deputy Secretary of State. The meetings took place at a Washington-area law firm and at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. The CIA has stated there was no professional relationship; Burns has expressed regret over the meetings.
⚠️ Inclusion in this database means a person's name appears in the released Epstein documents in the context described. The DOJ's own February 14, 2026 letter to Congress explicitly states that names appear 'in a wide variety of contexts,' including unrelated press reporting fragments. Presence in a document does not establish criminal wrongdoing.
