Per February 1, 2026 Financial Times reporting and February 21, 2026 CNN reporting on the released Epstein files, Marc Rowan — co-founder and current CEO of Apollo Global Management — held wide-ranging discussions with Jeffrey Epstein regarding Apollo's tax arrangements and potential corporate 'inversion' deals throughout the 2010s. Per CNN's reporting, Epstein received Apollo's internal financial documents and hosted meetings between Apollo executives and international private banks at his Manhattan townhouse. This documented activity directly contradicts Apollo leadership's prior public statements that the firm 'never did any business' with Epstein.
Following the new Epstein-file revelations, Apollo Global Management's stock dropped more than 15% in three weeks, wiping out approximately $12 billion in market capitalization. In March–April 2026, multiple securities class-action lawsuits were filed against Apollo and its executives, including CEO Marc Rowan, alleging securities fraud based on prior public denials of any Epstein relationship. The proposed class covers investors who purchased Apollo securities between May 10, 2021 and February 21, 2026.
